For the last two days, we have been experimenting with weed control. Here's a brief look at what we have been up to.
On Wednesday morning, we went out to the Naturescape and sprayed a mixture of vinegar salt and Dawn soap. When we back an hour later we discovered it had killed the weeds we had sprayed! We then sprayed even more weeds and went back later to see that they had dried up. We then tried the mixture without salt but noticed the weeds didn't dry out as much.
On Thursday morning, we went out and sprayed the non salt mixture again because we realized there was afternoon shade and bright sun is needed to help dry out the weeds. When we went back and saw that the non salt side had not worked as fast as the salted side.
We will be continuing our exploration next week!
